About CTGenWeb CT Archives Connecticut Map Post a Query or Message Lookup Volunteers The USGenWeb Project Contact State Coordinator, Maureen Mead
In June 1996, the Connecticut GenWeb homepage was created by founder, Jim Rothgeb, as part of the USGenWeb Project. Its purpose was to provide a single entry point for all counties and towns in Connecticut, where collected data will be stored. In May, 2008, State Coordinator George Waller retired and Maureen Mead was elected as the current State Coordinator. Thank you for your many years of leadership, George.

Volunteers are sought to coordinate the collection of data and generally oversee web page contents for counties and towns. Contact the volunteer shown on the county or town page, below, if you have data to share. If the town does not have a page and you wish to volunteer as a coordinator, please first read the requirements above and then contact Maureen Mead.

We need you! You may notice a message beside the county or town listing indicating it is available for adoption. This means that while we have created the county or town page, we are now looking for someone willing to adopt it. If you would like to adopt a web page for one of these available towns, please contact the current owner of the page.

If you are interested in volunteering, please visit the USGenWeb Project Volunteer Information page and contact the current owner of the page (see below). Thank you!
